Arrival of Thrall
For those of you who attended the Games Convention Asia 2008 on Saturday 20th October, you might have caught a glimpse of a certain Warchief Thrall from the popular MMO game World of Warcraft. Firstly, I would like to congratulate him for a job well done. Hours upon hours of hard work into his Horde costume finally paid off by snagging first place at the Cosplay competiion.
An Orc and a Human? Whatever happened to Horde hating Alliance?
Well, the journey for that particular cosplayer has just started. With the winner bagging a lucrative Blizzcon ticket complete with free air tickets. He will fly to California and once again don his Thrall suit at the Anaheim Convention Center. We will be covering his exploits in the United States and see how he matches up with equally fanatical fans at Blizzcon.
For the Horde! I win!
Popcorn Gaming will be sending a staff over to California to track his progression and since there's still a good 3 weeks to Blizzcon, I'm sure he'll be improving on his costume for the big one at California starting on October 10th.
